With the Atlantic Ocean just outside one window, the midnight sun the other and the Northern Lights just above the house, you can hardly find a better place to stay. And when this place is quietly located in the small village Vestresand, with a short way to everything in Lofoten, it will hardly be more perfect.

The house has many modern amenities, as well as free high speed broadband. It is easy to stay here both summer and winter due to its central location.

The towns of Leknes and Svolvær offer shops and restaurants, but you will also find a local supermarket in the immediate area, as well as several cafes and restaurants.

The Viking Museum is only 7-8 minutes away and is a must for everyone. Lofoten is all about fishing and Vikings, and the museum has an impressive story to tell!

There are hiking opportunities around every corner. During summertime it is just incredibly beautiful to sit on a peak and enjoy the sun that never sets. Locally there is nice flat hiking trails out to the islands and if you wantyou can go hiking at over 800 meters.

From the end of August to the end of April we have the Northern Lights - Aurora - and in eighth month you can see her dancing on the sky! From the end of May to end of July the sun never sets. But the best light conditions are many times in winter or in March and April.
